Untouched Delhi: The capacity-building programme for civil servants of Maldives– thirty third of its sort— will run for 2 weeks from 9 September to twenty September, 2024, and is being organised through the Nationwide Centre for Excellent Governance (NCGG), in collaboration with the Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA), a PIB press leave mentioned.
That is the second one section of the capacity-building initiative beneath the revised memorandum of working out (MoU) signed through Republic of India’s Exterior Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar, and Maldives’ Overseas Minister, Moosa Zameer, for the length 2024-2029. Below the primary section, over 1,000 civil servants from around the Maldives have visited the NCGG for capacity-building. The primary section desirous about everlasting secretaries, former presidents, participants of the Civil Carrier Fee, and high-ranking officers from key areas and ministries.
The brandnew program will cater to 34 civil servants from the Maldives, together with colleague administrators, senior directors, council officials, colleges, and crowd condition officials. This system will barricade subjects reminiscent of Republic of India’s governance style, virtual generation, and numerous central executive methods. The emphasis can be on bettering the potency of people services and products, making improvements to transparency, and selling just right governance within the Maldives.
Dr B S Bisht, route coordinator of the programme, mentioned, “It is pertinent to mention that NCGG has achieved the remarkable milestone by fulfilling the mandate of training a total of 1000 civil servants including permanent Secretaries, Secretary Generals and High-Level Delegates from Maldives over a total of 32 Capacity Building Programmes in Field Administration for the Civil Servant of Maldives including programmes for senior level officers from Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and Information Commission Office of Maldives (ICOM) under the MoU signed on June 8, 2019. The present programmes marks the initiation of the second phase of capacity building programmes after the renewal of the MoU in August, 2024. Five programmes will be held in the year 2024-25 targeting a total of 175 civil servants.”
