Arunachal Pradesh’s victory is highly celebrated by the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh cm Pema Khandu, cm says “This is a historic day for Arunachal Pradesh, especially for the BJP. The party has set a new record in these Assembly elections. In 2019, we won 41 seats and in 2024 we won 46 seats. Surprisingly BJP had won 10 unopposed seats.
The pm of India also has given their gratitude to the people of Arunachal Pradesh – Thank you Arunachal Pradesh! The people of this wonderful state have given an unequivocal mandate to the politics of development. My gratitude to them for reposing their faith in BJP yet again.
The celebrations in the state capital have begun!
The celebration began in Itanagar in the traditional Arunachal way, along with the capital BJP secured their win in a total of 46 constituencies but along with the BJP, there were also some independents have secured their won in the election and also there are some independent candidates who secured won against mighty BJP
Indian National Congress’ Kumar Waii won the Bameng assembly constituency in Arunachal Pradesh with a margin of 635 votes. Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Doba Lamino secured 5919 votes.
National People’s Party’s Namgey Tsering won the Tawang assembly constituency in Arunachal Pradesh by a margin of 996 votes.BJP had fielded Tsering Dorjee, who got 3671 votes.
Talks of bureaucrats for the reason of the BJP win in elections
Singhal said “Congress used to view Arunachal Pradesh as the last point (of India). But PM Modi called its village as the first village of the country and decided to build the best of infrastructure.”
Singhal also continued to say that The BJP’s manifesto for the Arunachal Pradesh elections was focussed on three core issues — promoting economic activities that include exploring tourism potential and value-addition to natural resources found in the state, developing education and healthcare infrastructure, and empowering the poorest of the poor people,
As it is said that the people of seven sisters also need development which was neglected by the earlier governments but not by the ruling party the BJP has also put a new trend in the history of Arunachal Pradesh by coming to a government after completing 5 consecutive year’s
The Opposition Congress, which was the main political party in the frontier state till 2016, was almost wiped out as the grand old party managed to win only one out of 19 seats it contested
Even the BJP ally party has done their election campaign in their own The ally party of the congress have also won The BJP on June 2 returned to power in Arunachal Pradesh for the third time in a row, as the party won 46 seats in the 60-member Assembly and secured a majority, Election Commission officials said.
Taking to X, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Thank you Arunachal Pradesh! The people of this wonderful state have given an unequivocal mandate to the politics of development. My gratitude to them for reposing their faith in @BJP4Arunachal yet again. Our Party will keep working with even greater vigor for the state’s growth.”
