Preity Zinta Wraps Shooting For Lahore 1947, Says ‘Definitely The Toughest Film I Have Worked On’; Watch

After almost 6 years, Preity Zinta is all set to make a comeback in films with her highly anticipated Bollywood project ‘Lahore 1947’. The actress would be seen sharing screen space with Sunny Deol for the same. She recently wrapped shooting for the film and has now shared a bundle of BTS photos in a video montage on her Instagram handle. She also penned a heartfelt note.

The note read, “It’s a wrap on Lahore 1947, & I couldn’t be more grateful to the entire cast and crew for such an incredible experience ❤️ I sincerely hope all of you appreciate & enjoy this film as much as we did making it. It’s definitely the toughest film I have worked on.”

On a closing note she added, “Full marks to everyone for all their hard work & patience during the last couple of months. Thank you Raj ji, Aamir, Sunny, Shabanaji , Santosh Sivan & AR Rehman from the bottom of my heart. Loads of love always ❤️.” 

Earlier in an interview with DD India. Preity Zinta opened up about her break and said she wanted to concentrate on her personal life. She shared, “I didn’t want to do a film. I was focusing on business, I wanted to focus on my personal life. People forget that for women, as actors, your craft is important, you want a body of work, but you have a biological clock. I’ve never dated anyone in the industry. I’ve never dated an actor. So the logical thing was I also needed to have my own family. It’s great to play various lives, but you shouldn’t forget to live your life. So I wanted to have children. Business was also very exciting since it was something new. But mostly, I wanted to focus on my personal life. I really don’t want to be an accomplished actor and a lonely person.”

Well, the actress did mention that she was reading scripts in the last six years but nothing exciting was coming in. In April, she announced the beginning of the shoot Taking to her official Instagram account, Preity posted the pics and wrote: “On set for Lahore 1947,” accompanied by ‘new movie’ and ‘shooting’ hashtags. ‘Lahore 1947’ is being produced by Aamir Khan.

Preity Zinta and Sunny Deol have previously collaborated on multiple films like Hero: Love Story of a Spy, Farz and Bhaiyaji Superhit. Sunny Deol made his grand comeback last year with Gadar 2. The film became a massive blockbuster at the box office.
